The International Exhibition of the Mining Industry, EXPONOR 2013, will bring together 1,000 exhibitors from 30 countries. It’s organize by the Antofagasta Industrial Association and will take place between June 17 and 21, 2013 in Antofagasta. This region forms the mining core of Chile and produces 18% of the global copper production making it the largest producing region in the world. It includes technical tours to mining facilities, business round-tables with mining executives, seminars regarding investments in mining projects and technical talks. As well as visits by delegations of executives of mining companies and suppliers; international workshop with foreign mining executives and business networking for exhibitors of international and national pavilions.
